Every stereo is diagnosed before it's sold.
Most refurbished electronics get a wipe-down and a bullet-point description. We do it differently — every unit that comes through Wavebench goes on the bench first.
That means powering it on, running the display, testing every port, checking Bluetooth pairing, and confirming SiriusXM compatibility where applicable — before it's ever photographed or listed. If something doesn't pass, it doesn't go up for sale.
How we test
Power & display check — Every unit is powered on and run through its full startup sequence. Screens, backlights, and touch response are checked for dead zones or lag.
Connectivity check — Bluetooth pairing, USB ports, auxiliary inputs, and SiriusXM tuner compatibility (where applicable) are tested individually.
Audio output check — We run actual sound through the unit to catch distortion, channel imbalance, or wiring issues before they reach your dash.
Condition disclosure — Cosmetic wear, included accessories, and anything else you'd want to know before buying is listed clearly on the product page. No surprises after checkout.
Our promise
If a unit doesn't meet our bar, it doesn't ship. If something goes wrong after it arrives, you have 30 days to send it back for a full refund — no questions asked.
